Late Registration/Extension of Time for Registration of Company Charges and Correction of Misstatement (sections 859A / 873 and 859M of the Companies Act 2006)
At Benchmark Solicitors London we offer a complete fixed fee service in relation to the hearing of applications to the County Court at Central London under 859A and 873 of the Companies Act 2006 to extend time for registration of company charges or correction of a misstatement.
Fixed fee
The fixed fee is £1000 plus VAT (£200) plus court fees (currently £308) which includes:
- Drafting and submitting to the court the court claim and evidence in support.
- Dealing with one non-attendance hearing at the Companies List at the County Court at Central London.
- The current prevailing court fee of £308 as of 01/05/2024.
Should your matter involve further hearings, we will confirm this and agree a fee with you for any other work.
Basis of application
By making an application (pursuant to section 859(f) of the Companies Act 2006) to extend the time allowed to register a charge under section 859A (or pursuant to section 873 if the charge pre dated 6th April 2013) you will be able to correct any failure to register a charge or debenture at Companies House.
By making an application under section 859M of the Companies Act 2006 you will be able to correct any misstatements in any notice or statement delivered to the registrar of companies.
